The Tapioca-maru is a Morolian spaceship used by Moro-Channel 5 reporters in Space Channel 5: Part 2.
Appearance[]
The Tapioca-maru is a pink spaceship designed and named after Coco★Tapioca, the first boss from the original Space Channel 5. Its front is designed after Coco★Tapioca's face, having three eyes, a yellow smile, two yellow antennas which appear to be used to pilot the spaceship, and Coco★Tapioca's arms in a "flying" position.
History[]
Space Channel 5: Part 2[]
The Tapioca-maru first appears in the Report 3: Meet the Sexy Space Police!, being piloted by Morolian Eight, who is after the scoop that President Peace is being held for ransom at Point Double X. However, once the Space Police arrive and tell the reporters not to disrupt their investigation, Morolian Eight, along with 88MAN and Shinichiro Tachibana, turn around and leave.
The Tapioca-maru can later be briefly seen during the intro of Report 5: The Spies Get Revenge, being piloted by Hoorg, as he sneaks into the Mystery Zone to assit Ulala and Space Michael.

Trivia[]
- "Maru" is often used as a suffix in Japanese ship naming conventions, similar to English's use of prefixes to denote a ship's type, though "maru" doesn't have an concrete meaning. "Maru" is also a pun on the ship's round appearance as "maru" also means round in Japanese.
