The Space Park is a location in Space Channel 5: Part 2. It's a beautiful park full of flora where President Peace is kidnapped.

History[]

Space Channel 5: Part 2[]

In the cutscene prior to Report 2, President Peace is visiting the Space Park, when he is kidnapped by a plant robot. This news makes Channel 5 cancel their regularly scheduled programming, Tasty Cookin', and Ulala is sent to the Space Park to report the case.

Entrance[]

When Ulala appears on the scene, various other reporters are shown to be reporting on the incident as well. This includes Tachibana, 88MAN, Morolian Eight, and Pudding. However, Ulala soon spots the Rhythm Rogues and pursues them to the conveyor belt.

Exhibition Tower[]

Space Park (3)

Space Park's conveyor belt.

The first section of the level happens on a conveyor belt within the Exhibition Tower. This conveyor belt seems to be for practical purposes, to lead visitors through the Exhibition Tower, and as an attraction of its own. This is suggested by its normally slow pace and the fact that it is full of plants and a walkthrough aquarium. This aquarium is shown to house fishes and even dolphins as well. The trees growing around are cut into different shapes: spheres and cubes.

Space Park (4)

Conveyor Belt's path.

During this segment, the path is overrun by monstrous and unnatural-looking plants, which will later be revealed as the boss of the Report. In this segment, Ulala faces off against Shadow, who has captured the Space Children. After saving the children, Ulala finds out that the Space Teacher Mr. Nervous and other children were also kidnapped and duels against Shadow in a dance battle to save them. After rescuing the them, Ulala will need to shoot at three plant robots to finish this section and go to the next location.

Fountain Square[]

Space Park (8)

The Fountain Square.

The second level segments happens in a square with fountains everywhere, hence the name. There is one main fountain with other lesser spouts of water spread out throughout the area and abundant flowers and trees in the plaza as well.

Space Park (9)

Pudding in one of the fountains.

Pudding appears in this segment and challenges Ulala for a guitar showdown. Once the battle ends, Pudding leaves and the Space Bird Mistress appears being forced to dance. A shooting segment begins, where Ulala must save the Mistress, the Birdmen and Space Park Staff Workers. In the Extra Mode of this report, Padding replaces Pudding as initiator of the Guitar Showdown. In addition, The Space Bird Mistress is replaced by the Space Dog Trainer, and the Birdmen are replaced by the Space Dogs.

After the shooting segment against the Space Bird Mistress, Fuse will ask Ulala to strike a pose at the end of the square along with all of the rescued hostages and this level's section will end afterwards.

The Green House []

Space Park (12)

The Green House.

The Green House is where the last section of the level happens and where the battle against Pon Piriri happens. It's a huge and warm greenhouse meant to house plants. The floor is covered in square, green glass tiles that give off a visible glow .

Space Park (14)

The Green House after the Rhythm Rogues's retreat.

As soon as Ulala reaches the greenhouse, she will find Pon Piriri in his plant mode, keeping President Peace as a hostage. After fighting against the monster plant, Shadow will appear again, and Pon Piriri will reveal his robot mode. Ulala will need to defeat Shadow and Pon Piriri in a waltz battle in order to beat the level. The Green House is filled with robotic, mutated plants when Ulala arrives. However, after the battle against the Pon Piriri ends, these plants slowly fade away and are replaced with normal flower. After Ulala signs out and all seems well, Shadow briefly returns to successfully kidnap President Peace.
