Not to be confused with the regular Coco★Tapioca
Other★Tapiocas (ベツ★タピオカ Betsu★Tapioka) or Groovebot Prime EX Other★Tapioca are boss enemies that appear in Space Channel 5 VR: Kinda Funky News Flash! They are Coco★Tapiocas that were coated with X space cells by Glitter as a form of "gratitude" for the Groove Moxie they gathered along with the Morolians.
History[]
Space Channel 5 VR: Kinda Funky News Flash![]
Other★Tapiocas only appear in the second report, a Chorus in White, where three of them assist the Othermoros on getting Ulala's Groove Moxie.
The Other★Tapiocas will attack the main trio by shooting a beam at them. The player will need to use the move "barrier" to protect themself from the attacks. To defeat the bots, the player must copy the Othermoros moves, so they can shoot at the Other★Tapiocas. Shooting at Other★Tapiocas enough times will knock them down and make the Othermoros flee.
When Ulala and twins think they had won, the Other★Tapiocas will make one last surprise attack, but the player can easily knock them again by shooting at Other★Tapiocas only one more time.

Trivia[]
- During the battle against the Other★Tapiocas in Report 2, some of the Othermoros will fly off from the Space Elevator everytime the player protects themself from the Other★Tapiocas' wicked beam with the barrier move.
- Despite three Other★Tapiocas appearing to fight against the player in their boss battle, only one of them actually attacked.
- The Other★Tapiocas on the sides of the Space Elevator don't have arms.
- Despite not appearing in the fourth report, two Coco★Tapiocas appear when the Othermoros are turned back into Morolians. This indicates that there were Other★Tapiocas near by during the report, and they were turned back into normal off screen.
