Here we go Ulala!
~ Noize, Space Channel 5: Part 2.

Noize is Ulala's dependable co-worker in Space Channel 5: Part 2. He works directly under Fuse as the operator of the Special Report Team.

Character Info[]

Noize is a jack-of-all-trades when it comes to inventing. He's the chief of the Technical Development Department at Channel 5. He transmits music for the broadcasts, works on repairing the Astrobeat, and fixes and makes microphones for Ulala, among many other things.[2] During emergencies, he drives the Astrobeat Jr. Noize also helped out in the creation of Evila (Upgrade).

During the events of Part 1 and Part 2, Noize is only 15 years old and has been with Channel 5 for about a year.[2]

Appearance[]

Noize is a young man who stands much shorter than Ulala. He has brown eyes that are typically never seen, due to his blue-framed, pink-lensed sunglasses. His outfit consists of a skin-tight yellow suit, lined with red stripes along the sides. Over this suit, he wears sky blue shorts, blue platform boots that extend just below his knees, blue gloves, and a long-sleeved, sky blue top. On the side of his shorts are red, blue, and green lights, and on the chest of his top is the Channel 5 logo. The sleeves of his top are translucent and blue, lined with dark blue rings. He has medium length pink hair that protrudes from the front and back of his hood, the latter in three spikes. He wears a silver headset and a pair of silver propulsion canisters on his back.

Personality[]

Noize is hard-working and reliable, and will always be there when Ulala needs a hand. He's very mature for his age, but still seems to be worried about his co-workers. This is especially seen when Noize takes over for Fuse; messing up will have him yell out, worried for Ulala.

While Noize is an overall polite kid, he does harbor a sarcastic, sassy side. He occasionally engages in gossip about his co-workers and superiors as well[3] Despite his hard-working, reliable attitude, he does enjoy goofing off, treating his lengthy business trip to another galaxy more like a long-term vacation during the events of VR.

History[]

Early Life[]

At a young age, Noize worked part-time for Channel 66 while studying at Eletech, the Electric Technology Academy.[2] He acted at their system engineer and made security systems for the station. When he graduated at age 12, he was hired as a full-time employee by Channel 66. Due to his previous involvement with the channel and his credentials, he was given a lot of freedom to do as he pleased while working for the company. Typically he'd tinker various system for the company. However, the amount of freedom he was given left him bored, it was like a game with no rules.

Around age 13, Noize met Fuse.[2] They happened to be seated next to each other while at a live performance by President Peace at the Space Park, and they got into a conversation about Y-chan, a popular gravure model at the time. About a year later, Fuse invited him to join Channel 5, specifically as part of the Special Report Team. Noize agreed to join without thinking which cause a big fuss with the higher-ups at Channel 66.

After about three month of discussion and negotiation, he was allowed to start working at Channel 5.[2] At first, he felt a little depressed and homesick but he enjoyed the engaging work and being around Ulala so much that he eventually got over it. It was a year passed by in a blink of an eye.

Though he is never seen or mentioned in the game Space Channel 5 itself, he was working alongside Ulala as the operator for the Special Report Team during that point in time.[4][5]
