Report 00 (Tutorial): A Star is Born
Mr. Gentle first appears in the game's tutorial, where he greets the twins and presents Ulala.
Report 1: The Morolians Strike Back!
He makes a brief appearance at the end of the report, telling the main trio to go to the space elevator after defeating the Coco★Tapioca.
Report 2: A Chorus in White
At the end of the report, he warns Ulala that the Other★Tapiocas are coming back, trying to attack her one last time. Thanks to him, Ulala and the twins are able to dodge their surprise attack and knock the robots down.
Report 3: Space Pirate Showdown
In the third report, Space Pirate Showdown, the Space Pirates ship appears and confuses Ulala and Mr. Gentle explains to her and the twins that they have witnessed the Space Pirate Broadcasting Station. Then, the level begins with a segment where the player must copy Ulala's moves to shoot and protect themselves from the meteors with Mr. Gentle giving them the moves they must make.
Report 4: The Final Report
In the fourth report, The Final Report, Mr. Gentle starts the Ulala's swimming report show, as Ulala has been taken hostage by Glitter. He explains to the player (the twins) they are inside Glitter's ship and later assists them at the beginning of the Glitter's boss battle by singing and saying the moves the player is making. He is later replaced by the Jaguars as the twins' assistants. During the game's credits, Mr. Gentle's name will not appear above anything.
