Mineko Okamura is a former producer for Sega and Co-founder of Grounding Inc. as well as it's current CEO. She has provided the Japanese voice of Ulala in all of the Space Channel 5 games as well as in Sonic Riders and in the Project X Zone series. She was also the voice of the Morolians until Space Channel 5 VR.

- In all three games, Mineko was credited as being "Ulala herself". The trend of having Ulala credited as herself has continued in the Project X Zone series.
- She is one of the four voice actors who has been voicing a Space Channel 5 character since the beginning of the series and wasn't replaced yet. The other three are Kae Iida, Shō Hayami and Takashi Yuda.
- It turns out via an Interview with the Sega Lounge, that her favourite Dreamcast game that she created is Space Channel 5 because not only because of the game itself, it was actually what got her into the music and entertainment industry. Plus she wants people to be happy and thinks that Space Channel 5 is one of the best games ever [1].
