The Meteorite Area is a location in Space Channel 5 VR: Kinda Funky News Flash!. It's where Ulala and other reporters chase Glitter's spaceship.

The area appears in the third report, Space Pirates Showdown, where Ulala, the twins, Pudding, 88MAN, Shinichiro Tachibana and the Space Pirates are trying to chase Glitter's ship to investigate the mysterious Othermoros.
First, there's a segment where Ulala and the twins must destroy the meteors coming at them to protect themselves, followed by a battle against the Space Pirates, where Ulala and the twins must shoot at the Space Pirates then try to beat the Jaguars in a dance battle. Afterwards, they are all surprised by Glitter ship, which abducts everybody.

- An early version of the Meteorite Area show up in the "State of Play - What's Next for PS VR" released on Sep 24, 2019.
- In the same trailer, the Jaguars are arranged differently than in the final game and Bad Tuning is not present behind them.
