The Japanese Dreamcast Magazine was a magazine that focused on media related to the Sega Dreamcast. Space Channel 5 content was often featured.
Outside of the occasional article, this magazine regularly featured two long running pieces known as The Space Channel 5 TV Show and Space Channel 5 Dot Com.
The Space Channel 5 TV Show[]
The first of these pieces, The Space Channel 5 TV Show, ran through the 37th volume of 1999 to the extra 22nd volume of 2000. These articles typically featured a word from someone on the development team, a diary entry, a character profile, and fan art submitted to the magazine. Diary entries covered an wide variety of topics from merchandise to Space Channel 5 related events.
Each page would also feature a unique render of various characters
Space Channel 5 Dot Com[]
Space Channel 5 Dot Com, would replace The Space Channel 5 TV Show. It ran through the 24th volume of 2000 to the extra 41st volume of 2000. Like The Space Channel 5 TV Show, a selection of fan art submitted to the magazine would be displayed. Much of it's content was related to the readers' participation with the Space Channel 5 website, SpaceChannel5.com. Naturally, readers would have to participate prior to the volume's publication.
The Talk Show section featured some members of the development team answering questions submitted to them. People questioned include: Mineko Okamura; Takashi Yuda; Mayumi Moro; Yumiko Miyabe; Hitoshi Nakanishi; Ken Okazaki; Naofumi Hataya; and Tetsuya Mizuguchi.
Readers could vote in various polls hosted on the Space Channel 5 website. The results would later be published.

- Which character would you like to see more as a main character? Most votes: Space Dogs.

- Who would you like to see Ulala coupled with? Most votes: Pudding.
- Male character I'd want as a boyfriend. Most votes: Jaguar.
- Which character do you want to be more like? Most votes: Ulala.
- Who is your favorite character in Report 1? Most votes: Space Japanese Person.
- Who is your favorite character in Report 2? Most votes: Space Granny.
- Who is your favorite character in Report 3? Most votes: Drummer Man.
- Who is your favorite character in Report 4? Most votes: Space Michael.
- Which is your favorite Space Primary Schooler? Most votes: Spiky and Green.
- Which is your favorite Morolian? Most votes: Boss Moro.
- Who is the worst male character? Most votes: Blank.
- Who is the worst female character? Most votes: Evila.
- What's your favorite machine out of all the reports. Most votes: 88Man's foot pedal ship.
- Who's the best space assistant in the world?. Most votes: Space Waitress.
- Which character would you want as your boss. Most votes: Spaceship Captain.
