The Astrobeat Jr. is one of Channel 5's spaceships, first appearing in Space Channel 5. It is Ulala's main form of transportation, the reporter typically standing on the back platform. In Space Channel 5, it appears to drive itself, but in Space Channel 5: Part 2, it is piloted by Noize

Information[]

Appearance[]

The Astrobeat Jr., befitting of its name, is modeled similarly to the Astrobeat, but smaller. It is a light blue, ovoid vehicle, with one orange seat inside. The cockpit is encased by a large dome with blue-tinted glass. Protruding from the ship is a large, flat platform, on which Ulala typically stands, as well as two rudders on the back, presumably for assistance in steering. Equipped on the dome is a large, blue antenna, capable of firing Chu Beams. Below the platform, the vehicle garners the Channel 5 logo.

It is currently unknown if the Astrobear Jr.'s beams can be powered with dance energy like the Astrobeat.

The Astrobeat Jr. doesn't appear again until after Fuse uses the Astrobeat to intercept a beam fired at Ulala, presumably falling to his demise as the ship fails and smolders. Ulala is reluctant to leave, frozen in fact, as the Headquarters are falling apart. However, Noize calls to her, and she and him escape the station on the ship.

Report 6: Purge’s T.V. Special

After being absent from Report 5 and much of Report 6, the Astrobeat Jr. appears at the end of the report, after President Peace is rescued and Purge is almost defeated. It remains alongside the newly returned Astrobeat as it concentrates dance energy from the crowd, and fires a beam that overpowers Purge's, launching him into space.

It later flies off with the rest of the characters as they march to the end of the galaxy.
